The “City of Angels”, or “LA” as many refer to it as is surrounded by desert landscapes, stunning mountain ranges, green forests, valleys, and of course, some of the most stunning beaches along the Pacific Coast.

1. By the year 1923, Los Angeles had produced one-quarter of the world’s oil supply, and the city still contains the third-largest oil field in the United States.
